Accessible Therapy Pathway

Reduced-rate therapy for individuals and couples seeking meaningful support in Oregon and Hawaii.

At Inward Motion Counseling Group, we believe that meaningful therapy should be accessible while also honoring the time, training, and care that goes into the work.

A few times each year, we open a limited number of reduced-rate therapy spots for individuals and couples who want to commit to consistent therapy but may need financial flexibility during this season of life.

This program allows us to extend care to our community while maintaining sustainability for our clinicians.

Two Pathways for Accessible Therapy

1. Reduced-Rate Sessions with Licensed Therapists

Each quarter, our licensed clinicians offer a small number of reduced-rate therapy spots for clients who are able to commit to weekly therapy for a focused period of time.

These spots are intentionally limited so we can maintain quality care for all clients.

Program Structure

  • Weekly sessions for 12 weeks

  • Individual and couples therapy options

  • Reduced rates compared to our standard session fees

  • Limited to 10 total spots per quarter

Available Spots Each Quarter

  • 5 Individual Therapy Spots

  • 5 Couples Therapy Spots

These sessions are designed for clients who are ready to engage in consistent therapeutic work and want a structured container for growth, healing, and support.

2. Accessible Therapy with Our Pre-Licensed Therapist

We also offer a unique accessibility model for clients working with our pre-licensed therapist.

All sessions are on a scale of $40, $50, $60, $70, or $80 per session based on what is available for your budget for a 3 month period of weekly sessions.

Complete the form to let us know where you land. During your initial consultation, our intake coordinator will get you all set up at the rate that works for you.

This model helps remove some of the barriers that often prevent people from accessing therapy.

All sessions with the pre-licensed therapist are supervised by a licensed clinician to ensure ethical and high-quality care.

Commitment to Weekly Therapy

Reduced-rate therapy is offered within a 3-month therapeutic container.

Participants agree to:

  • Attend weekly therapy sessions

  • Commit to 12 weeks of therapy

  • Engage actively in the therapeutic process

This structure allows therapy to build momentum and depth, rather than feeling intermittent or surface-level.

Application Window

Because spots are limited, applications may close early once all openings are filled. If spots are not filled, there will be a revolving opening. Check with us to find out our availability.

If the program is full, you are welcome to join our waitlist for the next cohort.

Who This Program Is For

Reduced-rate therapy may be a good fit if you:

  • Are navigating a life transition

  • Want support in your relationship or partnership

  • Are experiencing grief, stress, or identity shifts

  • Want to deepen your self-awareness and emotional wellbeing

  • Are able to commit to weekly therapy for three months

How the Accessible Therapy Pathway Works

  • Applications open four times per year during the following windows:

    • December 15 – January 15 → Program begins February

    • March 15 – April 15 → Program begins May

    • June 15 – July 15 → Program begins August

    • September 15 – October 15 → Program begins November

Interested clients complete a short application sharing their therapy goals, availability, and financial accessibility needs.

  • Applications are thoughtfully reviewed by our team to ensure the program remains fair, intentional, and supportive for everyone involved.

Selected participants are contacted within 1–2 weeks after the application window closes.

If all spots are filled, applicants may be invited to join the waitlist for the next cohort.

  • Accepted participants begin weekly therapy sessions for 12 weeks.

During this time, clients work with either a licensed therapist or a pre-licensed therapist under clinical supervision, depending on their selected pathway.

This consistent rhythm of weekly sessions allows therapy to deepen and build momentum over time.

  • At the end of the three-month period, clients and therapists reflect together on next steps.

    Options may include:

    • Continuing therapy at the standard rate

    • Transitioning to biweekly or monthly sessions

    • Completing therapy with a sense of closure and integration

A Note on Accessibility

The Accessible Therapy Pathway is designed to support community access to care while maintaining sustainability for the clinicians providing it. Because spots are limited, we encourage interested clients to apply during the next application window.
