Emotional Freedom Technique, often called “tapping”, helps bridge the gap between understanding something intellectually and actually embodying change. These sessions are designed to help you move through the emotional loops, limiting beliefs, and nervous system responses that keep you stuck so you can act with clarity, build consistent habits, and embody the version of yourself you keep trying to become.

What To Expect During A Session

Your session is a collaborative, supportive space where we focus on one specific pattern, belief, or emotional experience at a time.

  1. We’ll start with a short conversation to clarify what you’re working through and what outcome you’d like to move toward. From there, I’ll guide you through a tapping sequence while we bring awareness to the thoughts and feelings connected to the issue. (You don’t need to know how to tap beforehand. I will walk you through every step.)

  2. During the session, you might notice emotional shifts, new insights, physical relaxation, or simply a sense that the intensity around the issue has softened. There’s no pressure to perform or get anything “right.” The process is designed to meet you exactly where you are.

  3. After the tapping portion, we’ll take a few minutes to reflect on what changed and how you can carry that shift forward. You’ll also receive a recording of the tapping portion so you can revisit it whenever you need additional support.

  • Tapping sessions are coaching-based and focus on shifting emotional patterns connected to beliefs, habits, and reactions. While the work can feel therapeutic, it is not a replacement for mental health therapy.

  • Some people experience meaningful shifts in a single session, especially around a specific issue. For deeper or recurring patterns, or to address multiple issues/limiting beliefs, a series of sessions can help create more lasting change.

  • Common topics include limiting beliefs, anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, fear, emotional triggers, habit consistency, and feeling stuck in repeating patterns.

  • Sometimes emotions or even tears come up during sessions, and that’s completely normal. Tapping is designed to help regulate the nervous system so emotions can move through safely rather than feel overwhelming.

  • Yes. The tapping portion of the session is typically recorded so you can revisit it later and continue reinforcing the shift between sessions.

    If you’d prefer not to have your session recorded, that’s completely okay. Just let me know at the beginning of the session and we’ll simply proceed without recording.

  • Yes. Coaching and EFT tapping sessions are available to clients worldwide through virtual sessions.

    While therapy services are only offered to residents of Oregon and Hawaii, tapping sessions are provided as coaching. This allows us to work together regardless of where you live.

    All sessions are held online, so you can join from anywhere with a quiet space and a stable internet connection.
